My Brother and I have the same laptop, Dell Latitude D531. When we first got them my brother had this problem. When you plug in your charger the screen blinks black a few times and goes to desktop. Its not a big deal really but it can be a bit bothersome when you're watching a movie or listening to something because it does lag the computer a little, but not very much. I'm just wondering why it does this because before I didn't have this problem until I reinstalled Windows XP Pro and when my brother reinstalled Windows too, he didn't get this problem.
