why does my sanyo vpc-s1085 digital camera make peoples face look pale?

Could be the white balance is wrong or the flash is too bright for a close up picture. You might try putting a layer of tissue paper in front of the flash, or adjust the colors in Gimp or Photoshop. Faces might look better if you increase the color saturation just a little.
 
i've have tried to adjust the brightness of it. ive tryed to do a lot of stuff to fix it but when i take a pic of somebody the picture makes everyones faces look paler or whiter than they really are. i've taken the flash off but it just makes the pics look blurry. its frustrating i just want my pics to look like a normal skin tone. Does anyone know what the problem could be?? Please let me know! ~Thank you
