why does my Safelink Cell phone reroute me to Tmobile's help desk if its a TracPhone?

i have a Safelink cell phone that has minutes on it still and over 100 service days. it is a TracPhone but it keeps Rerouting my phone to Tmobile's customer service which is based in some overseas call center so the lady that answers has no clue what im asking and i cant tell what shes saying
