Last December I got my belly button pierced and it has been healing beautifully!
Now that its stopped oozing that nasty stuff its a lot easier to see it and I've recently noticed a purple bump that is on the side of it. it doesn't hurt or grow or anything...its just not very appealing.
it kinda looks like a pimple that wont go away and sometimes the skin over it peels like a fresh sun burn
Also i just got recertified as a lifeguard and i start getting into the water in like april or may. i've gone swiming with it and it didnt seem to have any problems but now im going to be in the water alot more and alot longer. will this be a problem since its only healed for 5-6 months by then?
