I am using a big muff pi and I have two different length cables. Ok so I have my shorter cable plugged into my amp then into the output, and my longer cable into my guitar then into the input. When I have it this way the pedal is louder but the sound is lower quality. Now when I switch the cables around, the pedal is quite, but the sound quality sounds like it should. I'm just wondering why is this? and whats the way I should go about this? where I'm gonna get amazing sound and have the pedal be louder then the bypass.
