Why does my Panasonic 50" LCD TV shut itself off, shortly after I turn it on?

It does this one time, every day, after being turned on for the first time that day. It will play all day after restart, so it's not an overheating issue.
No, the sleep timer is off. I also thought it might be some kind of demo mode, but I don't see anything in the menu that looks like that.
