Why does my palm keep soft resetting?

Well, I have a game called Prison on my palm. It was working fine for about a week, but now all of a sudden when I go into the settings option, my palm soft resets. I want to know if this is just a problem with the prison game or with my palm in general. Either way, is there any way to fix the problem, other than a hard reset?

BTW, I have a Palm T|X, if it matters.
 
I would recommend a program called Crash Pro- It will typically tell you why something caused a reset and then you'll know if it's a Palm issue or something else.

Are you certain that the Prison game is approved for the TX? Even though it may say it's for Palm OS 5 and up - often game developers don't update their titles when new devices come out. Being that the TX is about 6 months old, I'd suspect the game as the cause since it seems that it crashes when you go into it's settings.

Crash Pro can be purchased or "tried" from palmgear.

Also, you might want to download a program called Resco Lock - it can help with some high tasking programs by locking the memory. It's freeware and can be found by just google'ing.
