i just purchased a 00' Jeep Grand Cherokee last week
this is my first car and i was so excited to finally have my very own car.
until last thursday when i was accelerating after a stop sign and then gas petal hesitated. i was pumping it but nothing would happen. i told my father and he said it was no big deal and to let him know if it happened again.
two days later it happened on the way home from work but it happened worse that time
the next time it happened the engine shut off completely so i put it into park and started it right up again
the last time it happened was yesterday i was going around a turn and it stalled bad right in the middle of the turn and everything shut off including the radio. the steering locked up and i was stuck. i put it in park and tried to restart it but it wouldn't start up it look a few tries. i drove it home and it was running very rough.
my father took it out to see what was happening with it and it happened to him too, going around a turn.
we took it to auto zone and they did a computer diagnostic test and it said a censor might be bad
but i read online that i might have to loosen a few screws cause that is what is causing the computer to short.
please help me and let me know if you know what it is
im only 17 and i don't have the money to keep trying to see whats wrong with it
i need to just fix it in one shot

oh, and the check engine light goes on and off as it pleases.
