For 2 weeks my jeep would stall when i slowed to a stop for no reason at different times.The idle was rough also.I was going crazy as to why this was happening?Finally i brought it to a mechanic who tested codes and it was fine there.
He then noticed a large amount of carbon buildup in the throttle body.He cleaned it out and ran an engine clean to where the injectors were also cleaned out.The car runs like new and no problems.
Why would carbon buildup cause the stalling out problem and loss of power?
