Why does my Honda NSR 150 rr smoke so much ?

For the past couple of weeks my Honda NSR 150 rr has suddenly started smoking excessively and I'm using 500ml of two stroke oil every 70 km's. Is it possible that the oil pump is pumping to strongly or the carburettor is sucking too much oil. If it's either of these problems, how could I fix it myself.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my previous questions. I really appreciate your comments and your time.

Your problem has nothing to do with the carburetor (if it sucked more oil it would also suck more petrol) and everything to do with the oil pump. It sounds like oil is leaking past the pump. Does it smoke a lot more immediately after starting the engine ?

You may need to rebuild the oil pump. While you do this you can still run your bike without a working oil injection system by simply pouring 2-3% oil directly in the petrol tank (that's 20 to 30ml of oil per liter of petrol). Don't forget to mix it thoroughly.

john t has failed............. Try taking it into a honda dealership and getting it checked out.. It could be a lot of things and unless you have the time and knowlage.. You should take it in... If not check every part of your engine, fuel, oil and exhaust systems..
