Why does my headset buzz when I plug it in the front of my pc?

Its simple, when I plug my headset into the front stereo jack I got this ungodly buzzing noise. Its similar to interference or something, and depending on what I'm doing on the pc the buzzing will change pitch and tone.

Its a headset, earphones and mic. Payed a decent amount for it. Buzzing is unaffected by system volume or sound/mic settings.
