I got my hamster when she was 9 weeks old. shes now 12 weeks old and since ive got her her wee smells like fish.
Obviously im a bit concerned as with my previous hamster it wasn't fishy. I cant say that she is scared as she seems quite happy with me, and she seems normal. So i cant say she is unwell.
Could it be that she is allergic to sawdust? or something in her food?
i give her a hamster mix which has wheat, sunflower seeds oats, maize, peanuts, barley, peas, ocust beans, grass-meal, sunflower extract, middlings and molasses...
i also give her meal worms as a treat and have recently given her some raspberry leaves and fresh raspberry's
is it worth me taking her to the vets?
