why does my ford mustang keep saying tire pressure low during the winter? its...

...getting very annoying.? I have a 2007 Ford Mustang GT and this past winter every 2 weeks my screen would say "LOW TIRE PRESSURE"... if i filled up all my tires, then about 2 weeks later the same thing would come on and i would notice my tires getting lower. I've heard stories about tire pressure going down much quicker during the cold weather and just wanted to see if that was true. I probably had to fill my tires up 5 times this winter so far and its just really annoying. I've taken it to Ford to check out and they say its fine and its because of the cold weather. Does anybody else have this problem?
 
if you take a baloon outside in the winter you will see that the air pressure go's down and then when you take it inside the pressure go's back up. cold air dilutes pressure. yes its annoying but spring is almost here
