...happy and wags tail-? Why does my dog whine when she chews on her bone or a treat we give her? She looks happy and wags her tail and runs around but still makes little sounds like shes crying lol. I know she isn't in pain when chewing cause she loves chew toys and never whines over them only food type things. Any one know why?

My dog does this when I give her something to chew on. She wanders around and whines for a bit. I think she's looking for a place to chew it or to hide it. Eventually she just lays down with it.

The bone is harder than most chew toys, and dogs chew them harder. She could have a painful tooth.

I would say your dog is talking to you. It's saying thank you for the treat or chew toy. I have a dog who does that whenever she is excited or happy.
