PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ANSWERING:
I have a three or four year old male Catahoula Leopard and Pug mix named Colton. I got him about a year ago. About four months after I'd had him; he started getting into my underwear. It's not that I leave my underwear lying around; they're fresh from the dryer. My Mom will fold all the clothes from the dryer and put them in my bed to have me put them away after school. Colton will grab a pair and chew them up; which I am left to discover once I am home. He doesn't do this to my Mom or Dad, or any other items of clothing. I don't know why he does it; or how to make him stop. I've tried punishing him with a smack on the noise or being put outside for awhile; and he'll put his head down and his tail drops. But a week later, another pair is destroyed! How do I get him to realize no means NO? Why does he do this?
