I used to get 18 average under any conditions but now only 12. I have 2 clues: A recent trip to high altitudes of about 7,000 ft netted 28 mpg and this all started shortly after getting a small travel trailer and towing it. I replaced the air filter, no effect, there is about 40,000 miles on the van. Engine runs fine with no warnings. Just lousy mileage and it is killing me at the pump.
