Why does my Chevrolet Kalos keep stalling?

I have a 57 reg chevrolet kalos, new in July 08 with delivery mileage on. Was serviced in December. Yellow warning light kept coming on so went into dealers for a check, nothing found although they put a fuel additive in as they said the car might be 'coked up'. Was fine for about 10 days. Now intermittently stalls. When I say stalls the engine just stops - no judder, no leap forward just stops. Has happened twice while driving.....not nice as all power steering goes, and once while waiting at traffic lights. Has been into garage - nothing found. Is going back into garage tomorrow for a few days so they can drive it. Has anyone got any ideas? All oil levels etc are fine and no record of any faults on computer in car. Any advice would be great.

I had a similar problem with mine; mine didn't get to the point of stalling though. Mine was all coked up too, but mine had to be dismantled rather than having an additive put in.

Everything else was exactly as yours was, oil, power steering all fine, but the engine warning light kept coming on.

It should be still under manufacturers warranty, check to see if they will completely de-coke the engine for you. What they also recommended to me was to blast the engine once in a while, gun it up to 60 in 3rd, and this will blast some of the junk out of the engine.

Hope you get it sorted :)
