why does my cat not eat anything?

i have a four month old kitten and suddenly it stopped eating and slept all day he would vomit. it's been two days since he had eaten anything (even water) and it never went outside (and once fell from level 5 building) could it be that he caught a cold? (it's winter) and his toilet isn't very good
