Why does my cat lick the walls and try to eat it ?

LOL these are horible answers .. i think the first one made the most sense.. anyhu it jst started doing this so jst wondering if its a sign of undereating or anything .. becaz i recentli put it on a diet
 
Hi your cat licks the wall because it's probably just a habit try to stop it or go to a trainer.
 
Either there is something on the walls which it finds to be tasty, or there is something behind the walls it thinks would be tasty (maybe a mouse).
