Well I have been haveing this problem for a week now. I drive a 96 caprice 9c1 with the 5.7 lt1. I have a new water pump, 3 yr old radiator, no leaks of anti freeze and car still almost reaches the H after driving for 10 miles at a 115 degree day here in az, it will eventually hit the H if I drive it a little more. This car is designed to bring the needle down to 1 from 3 of the way of the temp gauge but it doesn't even when both radiator fans are on and ac on. Its hot outside but the car should be running cool and its not. The antifreeze boils and does drip out of the resorvoir. What could be the problem?
