Why does my car leak coolant after hard drving? Is it a problem?

After flooring my car overtaking just before my house I parked in the garage and the next morning there was a small puddle of coolant.

My dad saw the coolant and said it's got a radiator leak and needs to go to get pressure tested.

But when I drive normally it NEVER leaks, is it just leaking a little because the heat+pressure was too great after high revs, full throttle acceleration and then turning the engine off?

I think it's a waste of money, I swear it's just the overflow bottle letting a few drops out but my dad insists on paying for it to go to the mechanics.

Does anyone know if a small leak of coolant after high revs is a problem, or is it just normal?
It's a 9 year old car
