i just had my exhaust replaced on my 94 civic with 140k miles, and they fabricated the new exhaust. they put in a 6 inch long flex pipe near the cat converter as well. after doing this, i noticed that my car sometimes creaks on turns, when slowing down or when accelerating. However, it is sporadic and does not occur consistently. it sounds like the creaking is coming from where the flex piping is, and i was wondering if it is normal for flex piping to creak when it is new since it is woven metal. Any input is greatly appreciated!
