...first? Is it slipping? Lately I noticed that when I have my bike in neutral and if i start pressing down to get into first, I begin to hear a rattling sound that gets louder and louder as I press down.
The rattling isn't apparent if I slam down into first from neutral,
only when i start applying pressure....
At first I thought it was the chain when it happened to me out on the street cause it sounded like the chain was hitting something. But like I said, the rattling happens without the chain moving, it happens when slowly pressing down from neutral to first.
The sound comes from right next to the gear selector pedal.. the gear box?
Is it safe to continue riding?
Is there a quick fix to this?
