I own a 94 Dodge Caravan with 190,000 miles. It has a sparatic fuel delivery problem. Ocasionally when driving the van will loose power as if the fuel line was getting clogged. and hesitates when accelerating. When the pedal is smashed to the floor it does nothing for a few seconds and then takes off. This cycle will carry on for about 5 minutes and then is fine for the rest of the driving trip. It just had a tune up, new wires, plugs & fuel filter. I have just replaced the fuel pump and saw no improvement. The computer wiring is shot so the machine will not pick up any codes. I have tried fuel treatment and it does now seem to help.

Attention car geniuses out there. What do you think is the problem? Any ideas would be appreciated.

have you tried a fuel system flush.. might have to have it done seems like you have done the rest i drive a 98 caravan.. does sound like its bad gas and a fuel treatment and a filter should have got it even try a few bottle of it i always buy two anyways i add one and drive it and then add the other before i fill again do yo ubuy gas at same place all the time
