I have 29K miles on this car now and noticed it pinged a month after owning it (Nov 2007). I have taken it to two dealers and have filed claims with Honda of America (which are now closed since they didn't see anything wrong). The technicians are not finding anything wrong with the computer on the car. I have tried different fuel and have driven the car in AZ (where I live for the next week), UT, CA, CO, ID, OR & WA. I don't know where else to turn to so I am asking for your advice. It seems to ping everytime I drive it. More so when going on something steep or accelerating to get on the freeway. I thought Hondas were supposed to be good cars! Also, I now get the oil changed 3-5K miles. I relied on the car's computer which let me drive 7K miles before my first change. The service director at the dealer said to change it more frequently.
