i have a 2004 honda civic hybrid. The check engine light went on several months ago. Took it into autozone and the code read that it needed a new oil valve? Went to mechanic and they said it was a 100 dollar fix. Had them fix it but the check engine light is still on! Its been like this for a couple months now! Check engine light code now reads low oil? I dont know if it has to be reset or what the deal is. I fear the oil pump may be on its way out and thats why it reads low oil. Because the engine is not getting enough oil. Any thoughts? The car does have 160K on it.
