My 1988 Jeep Cherokee automatic seems to downshift for fun. Even if I don't accelerate or go uphill. It will downshift for a second and then upshift to normal. Sometimes it does this repeatedly.
seems like a bad soleniod that downshifts on itself own....like a shift control solenoid...also might be the trans slipping...might need to get a new tranny soon
