mechanics have replaced the ign module twice. I then replaced the coil, ign module, pick-up inside the dist, and the starter sylonid. truck only has this problem after driving a long ways about 5 miles. it will run fine and all of a suden it will only take the throttle a little past idle. then it will only idle. then it dies and will only start and idle for a few seconds. the next day it is hard to start the first time and then all of a suden it will run perfictly again.
if ford is so bad then why does my 63 still run with over 400,000 miles on it and it is not rebuilt? Clutch Hangs, Every Valve Rattles, Oil Leaks Every Time, Thats a chevy for you.
i also replaced the fuel pump and filter and checked the tank valve that switches tanks
