my 00 dodge stratus after 45mins of driving overheats, ive just replaced a new thermostat( no leaks) & a new water pump ( no leaks) New radiator, new coolant tank, also i have a new cap (16lbs) and New hoses. Is my head leaking, i don't smell any antifreeze thru my exhaust? & I dont have water in the oil. I have taken it to a shop and they performed a hydrocarbon test on the coolant (checks to see if exhaust is in coolant) and they performed a pressure check on the engine. twice. He said he is 99% sure there is nothing wrong with my head gasket. After I did all of this replacing it worked fine for a week and now it is back to overheating every 30-45 mins. When it overheats water leaks out the coolant tank and I have to add more directly to the radiator cap before I drive again.
