Why does mainstream media still talk as if there is no life outside of Earth?

It is a public fact that microbes of unearthly origin exist on the moon
They have been brought back to earth analysed
They are not fossils but living organism
They release methane gas on the moon as a waste product
Earth was seeded from space so its only logical that that the spread of biological matter throughout space is a common phenomenon
It is no secret about life outside earth so mainstream media please get up to date
