Why does Juliet ask her father for forgiveness in Romeo and Juliet?

In the book it says:
I went somewhere where I learned that being disobedient to my father is a sin. Holy Father Lawrence instructed me to fall on my knees and beg your forgiveness. (she kneels down) Forgive me, I beg you. From now on I'll do whatever you say.


What is the real reason did she forgive him?
 
She agrees to marry Paris. The real reason though is that she intends to take the potion and be dead in the morning. All part of the Friar's plan. Pax-C
 
Any daughter would be sorry that they disobayed her father. The tradition back then was that the father often chose the husband for the daughters, so he was insulted, and she (though only playing to the friar's plan) still did not want to be negitively remembered by her father, because, after all, they wouldn't meet again.

Help any??
 
i dont think she really forgave him, but as seeing as this was the last time she would see him(because she was going to do the fake death thing), she didnt want to end on bad terms
