...better performance.? I have had about enough of arrogant riders knocking Harley. I ride with guys that ride various makes. I would never knock any ones choice if they are happy with what they bought or had a different preference. Every ones different in what they find appealing. Its my take that most the cruisers out there are looking like variations of a Harley. They also seem to overshoot the mark, I think with over design. The 09 gold wing has a airbag. Look it up if you don't believe me. Honda Fury looks like an over polished, nostalgic american bike. I wouldn't knock anyone for buying one. My bike has beaten two separate honda vtx 1800 in 1/4 mile race. I am not saying my bike is the fastest out there. I am not even saying its the best.
I have ridden sport bikes and other than top end speed. What performs better on them. I thought it was a pain to sit on. couldn't imagine spending 8 hours on the thing. I know some guys do. How you can compare it to a Harley, besides a vrod, is just dumb. Wouldn't dream of putting my bike on a track. Didn't buy it to do that. If you have a crotch rocket and love it. Iam truly happy for you. I don't compare my bike to yours quit comparing yours to mine. The other thing that amazes me is how often they type it on line. Never do they say it to my face. Then again they would probably be picking up teeth from the ground.
