Why does it seem like a major requirement to have sex as a teenager?

I'm 16 and a virgin. What makes it funnier to some people is that I'm a guy. Apparently guys are supposed to be experienced or some shit. I want to save it for the right girl. What's so funny and wrong about that? Even had to accusations of being a homosexual because I've never had sex.
And I'm gonna be 17 in 4 weeks.
 
their is nothing funny about this, somepeople eho have done this at this age iwth many girls , they r just takingpleasure of doing this,but u r right guy and find any right girl for u who is of ur type, best of luck, let them make fun , don't tke them seriously in actual they r jealous bcz u are untouched, bye
 
Haha where do you live? I never felt that kind of pressure and actually found myself getting more dates because I'm "such a gentleman, and didn't try to have sex" with her. Seriously dude, save it. There's no shame in it. I'm a 19 yr old male and everyone I know that knows I'm a virgin thinks that it's a good thing at this point in life.

Tough it out. There are more people like you out there than you think!
 
it's just peer presurre but it's good to not follow the crowd. while they are all catching diseases, you'll be enjoying life. be you =)
 
I know what you mean, im turning 16 next month and everyone expects me to start having sex when im legal. I can't be bothered I want to save myself for the right boy i don't want it to be a one night stand or a rush. I think there is nothing wrong with you being a virgin people who have sex recklessly are more likely to catch STDs or get pregnant if they are girls.
