Why does it matter whether Obama meets with Fox news?

Why is it that so many people are putting such a huge emphasis on the whole matter of Obama not wanting to meet with FOX news station? Is it such a big problem that 103482038230 questions on Yahoo have to be dedicated to it? Honestly, people, get a hold of yourself. The question of the matter should be whether it's an appropriate time to meet with Iran's leader (blah blah blah, etc), not that Obama doesn't want to meet with fox because he's scared or whatever. There are bigger problems in the world than our leader meeting with a bunch of old farts who could a flying fart about what he says. Lame. Please, someone, find a better topic to talk about!

I also know that there are going to be people who find my hypocrisy (the fact that I want someone to find a better topic while my topic isn't any better) to be an amusement. I don't care, because we're all hypocrites. I just hope that when I get back on to find some interesting questions, it won't be filled with stupid questions like these.
Whoops, I meant to put "a bunch of old farts who could care a flying fart..." Ha, thinking too fast, not typing fast enough.

The Obama haters always have a stake in trying to make him look like he's "scared" of FOX, or scared in general. Just consider that the source are people who think FOX News is exceedingly important for some reason.

Yeha sure he is not scared he is just busy..right...it would mean he couldn't go out to lunch with Biden, or take Michelle to New york, or appear on letterman.

Yeah he is not scared...

Were Obama a real man with concrete ideas, he would have NO PROBLEM going on FOX news to discuss/debate but he is, in reality, a freaking chicken with no damn answers and he knows this! I MIGHT have a pinch of respect for him were he to sit down with Hannity like he wants to do with Iran's top dog!

He already went on Fox. I don't know why they bring this question up repeatedly. It's silly and irrelevant. He doesn't have to debate anyone any longer. He already debated their candidate 3 times and won. End of story.
