It can hurt the first time because vaginas are small and sensitive. After a while it will stretch out and make enough room for it to be pleasurable and comfortable.
Sometimes a woman will bleed her first time because her hymen (cherry) will break which is just a little tear of skin. It's not a big deal and it usually only bleeds once and not that much.
