I have noticed looking at a lot of Hausa movies and songs on Youtube that the Hausa entertainers sing in a light, high-pitchedvioce though I could tell that the rhythms are africanish and the language definitely an african language like Hausa is.
Why does they sing this way?
I don't believe this is the traditional form of hausa music.
Is the "Indian" movie music like pop music in America?
P.S.: If there is anything about this question you find offensive, please forgive me. I have no intention of being offensive. This is truly just my curiousity asking.
p.s: By the way, I like the music. I am just asking about why it may sound the way it does.
