How come Conservatives and Evangelicals give Obama such a hard time, accusing him of being a Muslim (when there's no evidence of that,) but they supported Nikki Haley as Governor of South Carolina? She was raised a Sikh, only recently identified herself as a Christian, and still attends Sikh ceremonies. Who doesn't she get as much scrutiny as Obama, who has attended Christian churches pretty much his whole life. I find this especially puzzling, since she won in a Deep South State in the "Bible Belt," an area that's known for its hostility to non-Christian religions (and a state that has a separatist movement to create a Christian colony.) I'd especially like to hear from people in South Carolina about this.
