why does fuel pump shut off when door is shut or interior lights turned of 94...

...pontiac Bonneville? i installed a new fuel pump. the fuel pump will only run when the dome light is in the on position. the pump turns off when the dome light is turned off . also the windows wont work with the dome off . another thing the dome light wont come on when the door opens.i checked to see if i lose power or ground to pump i lose ground. has any one else had a problem like this. all fuses are good and relays are also good
