does this happen to you, or everyone?

take now for instance
i'm reading 'the perks of being a wallflower' by stephen chbosky
i love it so much
but i'm changing
i'm becoming withdrawn
and i think about things a little more
(the boy in the story is like this)
why does this happen ? is it because i want to be like the character?

a month ago i read the book 'crank' by ellen hopkins
and became sort of like the girl in that story ..

help me?

The only non religious book that really changed me was Thomas Payne's "Common Sense". It made me go from being a conservative sympathetic to the republican party's cause, to a Federalist sympathetic to the Constitutional party. Weird, huh?

Whenever i read Stephen King stuff, i become mega paranoid.

It's not the horror and gore ones that gets me, it's how humans react when put under extreme pressure, that's what scares me..
