don't cover UFC? I mean, UFC is very popular, and its only getting bigger. Yet when Brock beat Shane, they only showed it for like 15 seconds on ESPN. That whole fight card was amazing.
 
Although those sports are boring, they have long been accepted as legitimate sports. UFC and MMA in general are the new kids in the sports world and are still undergoing a lot of criticism. ESPN doesn't usually televise boxing or wrestling either so it's probably a matter of leaving fights off regardless of type.
