I asked this question earlier but didnt get any real good answers so ill ask again. I dont understand why each branch needs to have its own Battle Dress(combat) style uniform or. It seems like this is stupid and such a waste of taxpayers money that they want to have to distinguish themselves from each other for the most superficial patterns on uniforms which make then have to repeatedly spend more money fixing uniforms and customizing gear to go with those uniform patterns. I feel that they should all go back to a common BDU style uniform(s) that should be shared by all branches. is there a justifiable reason for this?
Im not advocating the use of a BDU but rather a common ground combat uniform for all the services. it just seems like would make so much sense.
