why does coke,pepsi taste weird?

i drank coke or pepsi everyday but now it has this weird taste
first i thought someone might of dropped the can on something smelly so i poured it in a glass cup and then it still had that nasty smell
can someone help?
now all i drink is water and its driving me crazy!!
sorry not nasty smell but taste
