Why Does Carbon Turn Green?

it has to do with the resin used and the clear over it all. The new ZR1 has special carbon resin and cleared with new technology so it will not yellow.

I will say that I have also had many carbon parts. One rear spoiler I had turned yellow in a matter of days, another has been in the sun for almost 6 months strait with zero yellowing.... YMMV for sure.

I have ALL my carbon cleared by a trusty local body shop. I then polish out any orange peel and wax it and have had zero yellow/greening issues with the added benefits of these pieces throwing an awesome shine and being very easy to keep clean.
