VIOLATION NATION INVASION

Guest
strictly come dancing? every day they go on and on about it, it drives me insane. yes i know there is allways the off button but at that time of the day, you are just to busy.

The truth is,the dumbed down Blair generation have an obsession with low brow celebrity TV.
Ergo,it makes sense for the media to focus on what interests the bulk of the viewer though many of us find it utter nonsense and are indeed frustrated at the lack of worthy television.

I never watch the leftist, fee extorting, patronising, new Labour mouthpiece BBC anyway.

Because the BBC can never shake off its slightly patronizing "auntie knows best" attitude - it confuses its obligation to public service broadcasting with a fear of offending anyone who has a lobby group behind them. All the Jeremys, Tarquins and Arabellas at BBC Centre are sharpening their (Tuscan) kitchen knives as I speak....

I am with you there. I have enjoyed "Scrap it" on DMAX + 1 (7am) of late, but I recon it is the 12 year old child revisited in me. I think I will make those things one day, when having to babysit maybe.

Agreed and while I'm at it.....
1. Bill Turnbull is as wet as a haddock
2. Sports presenters look stupid always doing things they cant do (not funny)
3. The Studio is drab
4. No serious news
5. The continual thumpety thump thump when we do get 'news' irritating and intrusive
6. Hippos swimming round in circles etc do nothing to persuade me that there are serious people there.
re above answer - yes they are patronizing and there is nothing 'auntie' about the BBC especially when 2 of its childrens presenters die in a booze and drug fuelled binge (or one died and the other hung themselves).
