good yield ? im not sure about this question, is the answer because there is not a gazillion crops in a small area that use up all the nutrients and essentials and in the wild an apple tree will have space and can take up nutrients without having to compete with many plants(unike a farm)
Why does an apple tree in the wild not need fertilizers yet it still produces
