Why does a skype icon show up on some of my friends facebook chats?

A little skype icon appears next to my name on facebook chat and says when I am on and offline and even says my skype name if you scroll over it. How do I get it so no one can see that? My skype name isn't even on my facebook. I don't want everyone having my skype name and now it's some how on facebook.
 
I was having the same issue. Are you using firefox? If so, go to tools, add-ons, then scroll down to the skype addition for firefox and disable it. That solved the problem for me.
