why does a guy watch a girl dance all night?

is it because he likes her or just wants a one night stand. i didn't notice but my friend told me he was watching me all night and wherever i went he was there right behind me. i didnt have sex with him and i still haven't. and we still see eachother every week at the same place. he tells me some stuff. is this a good thing?like his family problems and stuff like that
