Why do you think there was 5 police cars and an ambulance?

My neighbor is a prescription drug addict. she told me she is a drug addict and about to go in a drug rehab program soon. She has a little 6 yr old little girl that sometimes plays with my son but doesn't often cuz of their problems.
Tonight they had 5 police cars and an ambulance. They took out her husband on a stretcher. My guess is a suicide attempt. he looked on drugs...on something. My son saw him and said "mommy, Mr. Dan is dead?"
Should I be worried? i didn't want to nose in their business. What is your guess for that many policemen to show up?
My area has the lowest crime rate in the county so this is rare and possibly the cops were bored.
 
Could be anything from a medical emergency to a suicide attempt to a criminal act. Often the police will respond just to be sure there was no crime and no one else is in danger. It could be that those five patrol units happened to be available and all responded. If there were another call to come in, they probably would not all have stayed.
