...discussed in media? and when it is....what we hear is something to the extent that we know money is involved money is always attracted to power...blah blah.. But if people are buying our politicians literally legally bribing them with campaign contributions and other things they do ..for favorable legisaltion....to me its the single most important issue in american politics today. Yet the media does not research it or investigate it or do exposes on it.

B/c the media is a lobbyist also. They, mostly, support the dems, so if they rat out the GOP, they will have to rat out themselves.

Because the mainstream media is part of the problem. The media is unofficially the fourth branch of the governement.

The media is also a special interest group, what do you think? They influence our politicians and they influence us. Do you think it is in special interest groups benefit to be open about their inside deals. They will disguise them, hide them, make them look as legitimate as possible. It is our job to disseminate what is available to us. I am still looking for sources I can trust, how about you?

AIPAC, or the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, describes itself as the most important organization affecting the U.S. relationship with Israel. With a budget of $65 million, and membership now standing at over 100,000, it is no wonder that congressional staffers consider it one of the most powerful and effective lobbies on Capitol Hill. Only rarely is a critical word uttered among politicians regarding AIPAC and its associates that support unjust and aggressive (and disastrous) POLICIES.

WHY IS THIS FOREIGN COMMITTEE LEGAL??

Only if they are a democrat. If a republican takes a 2 dollar cigar from a lobbyist the New York Times puts it on page one and CNN interrupts regular programming for a special bulletin.
