Why do you say the chicken came first (chicken and the egg debate)?

So people say the chicken came first because God created all the animals. No that is wrong. The only thing God might've created is the first microorganism that came about as the ancester of life on Earth. See the egg came first because the predecessor of the chicken layed the egg that had the evolved form we now know as the chicken. So saying Genesis as a reference to this is like saying evolution is a lie, and it has been proven that evolution has existed and is still here today forming slowly. So why take a stab at evolution as the real answer? Why?
 
um..Evolution IS a lie, hate to burst your bubble, it is fabrication of the Liberal mind, from people who are afraid to trust in a religion...but i digress...anyway in Genesis since you referenced it, it states that (to paraphrase) God created all the creatures of the land and the sea and the air, it didn't say that he created a bunch of eggs and waited around for them to hatch, and it also states that he brought all of the animals to Adam and he named them. im sure God didn't bring Adam a bunch of eggs and said "wait it out, I'm going golfing"
